EAB Plan in Fairport

On February 8th at 7pm the Village of Fairport’s Emerald Ash Borer management plan will be discussed at a public information meeting at the Fairport Village Hall.  Fairport’s Village Tree Board has developed a plan to remove 127 ash trees,  treat 64 trees and monitor 47 young ash trees.  The plan, taking place over 10-14 years, also includes replanting of non-ash trees.  View the EAB mitigation plan here: http://www.fairportny.com/UploadedDocuments%5CFairport%20EAB%20Mitigation%20Plan%202011%20Revised%20Sept%202011.pdf?CFID=5259953&CFTOKEN=83081843
