Ash Trees- What’s the Holdup?

As this spring progresses and more information appears in the media regarding the Emerald Ash Borer I wonder about how people perceive the problem.  Are they in denial?  Do they not care?  Can they not afford treatment?  Maybe people don’t know that the tree in their front yard is an ash…  What will happen when their trees die – will they be able to afford to remove the trees?  While there has been an uptick in interest in treatment since the media began reporting, it hasn’t been as strong as it should be.
